Subject: Requirements of a valid marriage? |
Bible Note: I agree. I think if the state views common law marriage (cohabitation) as covenant marriage, the governing authorities, in this instance, is not consistant with God's higher moral law and therefore no longer acting as God's agent. Although I'm confused since there are instances in the old testament when cohabitation and consummation constitutes marriage. Am I wrong in my understanding? Monica |
