Bible Note: Hi Kalos, I'm still trying to get people to capitalize pronouns of Deity. A lot of people here lately seem to have broken shift keys. I would have wanted Ioma here to capitalize God. But you also, when you put GOD in all caps for emphasis it doesn't tell us how you look at it; it could be god or God. When I was looking for a verse to show why it is important to differentiate I came upon two verses for comparison. Exodus 20:3, "You shall have NO OTHER gods before Me." It can't be typed Gods because there is only one God. As verse 23 says, "You shall not make other gods besides Me; gods of silver or gods of gold, you shall not make for yourselves." Exodus 34:14, "---for you shall not worship ANY OTHER god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God---" In passing I have a question for you. Do you think that God's name is Jealous? Or do you think that this word should be lower case as in "My name is holy". I know you have more important questions to work on, but it's good talking to you. From the heart, Ray |
