I will try to not debate anyone openly inthe forum, but you can contact me at jnicknewsome@gmail.com if you would like to discuss it further. Please understand that I do believe Jesus is the Son of God and we are made right with God through the sacrifice Jesus made for us by dying on the cross and by God raising Him from the dead. I also believe that God is more concerned with a man's heart (which will be displayed in their talk and actions) than He is in their theology. This is what I have understood to be part of the teaching of the following verses: - I desire mercy not sacrifice (Matt 9:14) - Man was not made for the sabbath but the sabbath for the man (Mark 2:27) - The two greatest commandments (Matt 22:40) The rules do not seem to be as important as the man. Everything revolves around mercy and love, not theology and rituals. That is my take anyway. I thank God that He loves me (for what appears to be no reason at all) and may I honor Him by loving others in the same manner.
