I'm grounded in the Word of God whereby I can't be toss to and fro by every wind and doctrine claiming truth of God.Christianity has become a religion but being a true Christian is a personal relationship with God that only comes from being grounded in the Word. Long before the dictionary gave definitions to words God had a definition for 2 words directed towards Him, "faith" Hebrews 11:1 and "religion" Romans 10:3. I don't believe that Jesus died on a Friday and rose from the dead on Sunday, how can you get 3 days and 3 nights from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning? But rather the Passover came on a Weds. and He rose from the dead before 6 pm on Saturday.The gospel says that He was not at the tomb early on the first day of the week and to be legally dead under Jewish law a person had to be buried 3 24 hr. days. I can see where the Rapture of the Church is represented in Rev. 3:10-13 and there is ample proof to support this by the fact that the word church itself is absent until chapter 22 and God's numerology. 3 is the number of completion as the Church departs in chapter 3 with the Church of Philadelphia which is the 7th and last church age and 7 is God's number for completed perfection. The Church departs long before the Tribulation and endures none of it.Rev. 3:20 is where Christ stands outside of a church and knocks and those are Christians inside the church and they are "left behind" Christians. If all Christians were taken this would cause chaos and Satan is the author of chaos not God, in fact I believe there will be so few that the Christian community will still be waiting for the event to occur. The Holy Spirit dwells in and is cultivated in the selfless Christians for selflessness is as close as a Christian can get being Christ like as a follower of Christ. Romans 10:3 tells us that religion is man made righteousness which is as "dirty rags" to Him for He is to be worshiped in spirit and truth. Religion does had one redeeming value and that is we all must start somewhere as I as a Catholic until I heard the truth and excommunicated myself. The Catholic church is full of half truths which are just as good as a lie. I believe that the greatest love story in the history of mankind is when God left His glory in the form of sinful flesh as Jesus Christ to participate in kinship with man that He may save man from himself and that Mary was merely the vessel God chose to initiate this miracle for how can an eternal God have a mother?
The Bible was written to be studied not read for study gives us the arsenal we need in defense of Christian truth and when I argue God's truth with non christians or pseudo christians they leave feeling as though they just bought a knife to a gun fight. I have dampened many a Mormon's lying bravado and sent "Mohammad Alla Akbah" into irrational replies when I show them Galatians 1:8,9 and ask them which angel bought God's truth to their 'prophets" or does the verses that gave warning long before the fact of their religions carry more credibility.
