			Dan 5:13 ¶ Then¹¹⁶ Daniel¹⁸⁴¹ was brought⁵⁹⁵⁴ in before⁶⁹²⁵ the king⁴⁴³⁰. The king⁴⁴³⁰ spoke⁶⁰³² and said⁵⁶⁰ to Daniel¹⁸⁴¹, "Are you that Daniel¹⁸⁴¹ who¹⁷⁶⁸ is one of the exiles¹¹²³^,¹⁵⁴⁷ from Judah³⁰⁶¹, whom¹⁷⁶⁸ my father² the king⁴⁴³⁰ brought⁸⁵⁸ from Judah³⁰⁶¹?
			Dan 5:15 "Just now³⁷⁰⁵ the wise²⁴⁴⁵ men²⁴⁴⁵ and the conjurers⁸²⁶ were brought⁵⁹⁵⁴ in before⁶⁹²⁵ me that they might read⁷¹²³ this¹⁸³⁶ inscription³⁷⁹² and make³⁰⁴⁶ its interpretation⁶⁵⁹¹ known³⁰⁴⁶ to me, but they could³⁵⁴⁶ not declare^2331b the interpretation⁶⁵⁹¹ of the message⁴⁴⁰⁶.
			Dan 5:17 ¶ Then¹¹⁶ Daniel¹⁸⁴¹ answered⁶⁰³² and said⁵⁶⁰ before⁶⁹²⁵ the king⁴⁴³⁰, "Keep your gifts⁴⁹⁷⁸ for yourself or give³⁰⁵² your rewards⁵⁰²³ to someone³²¹ else³²¹; however¹²⁹⁷, I will read⁷¹²³ the inscription³⁷⁹² to the king⁴⁴³⁰ and make³⁰⁴⁶ the interpretation⁶⁵⁹¹ known³⁰⁴⁶ to him.
			Dan 5:19 "Because⁴⁴⁸¹ of the grandeur⁷²³⁸ which¹⁷⁶⁸ He bestowed³⁰⁵² on him, all³⁶⁰⁶ the peoples⁵⁹⁷², nations⁵²⁴ and men of every language³⁹⁶¹ feared¹⁷⁶³ and trembled²¹¹² before⁶⁹²⁵ him; whomever¹⁷⁶⁸ he wished⁶⁶³⁴ he killed⁶⁹⁹² and whomever¹⁷⁶⁸ he wished⁶⁶³⁴ he spared²⁴¹⁸ alive²⁴¹⁸; and whomever¹⁷⁶⁸ he wished⁶⁶³⁴ he elevated⁷³¹³ and whomever¹⁷⁶⁸ he wished⁶⁶³⁴ he humbled⁸²¹⁴.
			Dan 5:23 but you have exalted⁷³¹³ yourself against⁵⁹²² the Lord⁴⁷⁵⁶ of heaven⁸⁰⁶⁵; and they have brought⁸⁵⁸ the vessels³⁹⁸⁴ of His house¹⁰⁰⁵ before⁶⁹²⁵ you, and you and your nobles⁷²⁶¹, your wives⁷⁶⁹⁵ and your concubines³⁹⁰⁴ have been drinking⁸³⁵⁵ wine²⁵⁶² from them; and you have praised⁷⁶²⁴ the gods⁴²⁶ of silver³⁷⁰² and gold¹⁷²², of bronze⁵¹⁷⁴, iron⁶⁵²³, wood⁶³⁶ and stone⁶⁹, which¹⁷⁶⁸ do not see⁷²⁰⁰, hear⁸⁰⁸⁶ or understand³⁰⁴⁶. But the God⁴²⁶ in whose¹⁷⁶⁸ hand³⁰²⁸ are your life-breath⁵³⁹⁶ and your ways⁷³⁵, you have not glorified¹⁹²².
			Dan 6:10 ¶ Now when¹⁷⁶⁸ Daniel¹⁸⁴¹ knew³⁰⁴⁶ that the document³⁷⁹² was signed⁷⁵⁶⁰, he entered⁵⁹⁵⁴ his house¹⁰⁰⁵ (now in his roof⁵⁹⁵² chamber⁵⁹⁵² he had windows³⁵⁵¹ open⁶⁶⁰⁶ toward⁵⁰⁴⁹ Jerusalem³³⁹⁰); and he continued kneeling¹²⁸⁹ on his knees¹²⁹¹ three⁸⁵³² times²¹⁶⁶ a day³¹¹⁸, praying⁶⁷³⁹ and giving³⁰²⁹ thanks³⁰²⁹ before⁶⁹²⁵ his God⁴²⁶, as he had been doing⁵⁶⁴⁸ previously⁶⁹²⁸.
			Dan 6:11 Then¹¹⁶ these⁴⁷⁹ men¹⁴⁰⁰ came⁷²⁸⁴ by agreement⁷²⁸⁴ and found⁷⁹¹² Daniel¹⁸⁴¹ making¹¹⁵⁶ petition¹¹⁵⁶ and supplication²⁶⁰⁴ before⁶⁹²⁵ his God⁴²⁶.
			Dan 6:12 Then¹¹⁶ they approached⁷¹²⁷ and spoke⁵⁶⁰ before⁶⁹²⁵ the king⁴⁴³⁰ about⁵⁹²² the king's⁴⁴³⁰ injunction⁶³³, "Did you not sign⁷⁵⁶⁰ an injunction⁶³³ that any³⁶⁰⁶ man⁶⁰⁶ who¹⁷⁶⁸ makes¹¹⁵⁶ a petition¹¹⁵⁶ to any³⁶⁰⁶ god⁴²⁶ or man⁶⁰⁶ besides^3861b^,⁴⁴⁸¹ you, O king⁴⁴³⁰, for thirty^8533b days³¹¹⁸, is to be cast⁷⁴¹² into the lions'⁷⁴⁴ den¹³⁵⁸?" The king⁴⁴³⁰ replied⁶⁰³², "The statement⁴⁴⁰⁶ is true^3330a, according to the law¹⁸⁸² of the Medes⁴⁰⁷⁶ and Persians⁶⁵⁴⁰, which¹⁷⁶⁸ may not be revoked⁵⁷⁰⁹."
