So Jehu³⁰⁵⁸ said⁵⁵⁹, "If⁵¹⁸ this is your mind⁵³¹⁵, then let no⁴⁰⁸ one^6412a escape^6412a or leave³³¹⁸^,⁴⁴⁸⁰ the city^5892b to go¹⁹⁸⁰ tell⁵⁰⁴⁶ it in Jezreel³¹⁵⁷."
			2 Kin 9:16 Then Jehu³⁰⁵⁸ rode⁷³⁹² in a chariot⁷³⁹² and went¹⁹⁸⁰ to Jezreel³¹⁵⁷, for Joram³¹⁴¹ was lying⁷⁹⁰¹ there⁸⁰³³. Ahaziah²⁷⁴ king⁴⁴²⁸ of Judah³⁰⁶³ had come³³⁸¹ down³³⁸¹ to see⁷²⁰⁰ Joram³¹⁴¹.

And Joram³⁰⁸⁸ said⁵⁵⁹, "Take³⁹⁴⁷ a horseman⁷³⁹⁵ and send⁷⁹⁷¹ him to meet⁷¹²² them and let him say⁵⁵⁹, 'Is it peace⁷⁹⁶⁵?'"
			2 Kin 9:18 So a horseman⁷³⁹²^,^5483b went¹⁹⁸⁰ to meet⁷¹²² him and said⁵⁵⁹, "Thus³⁵⁴¹ says⁵⁵⁹ the king⁴⁴²⁸, 'Is it peace⁷⁹⁶⁵?'" And Jehu³⁰⁵⁸ said⁵⁵⁹, "What⁴¹⁰⁰ have you to do with peace⁷⁹⁶⁵? Turn⁵⁴³⁷ behind⁴¹³^,³¹⁰ me." And the watchman⁶⁸²² reported⁵⁰⁴⁶, "The messenger⁴³⁹⁷ came⁹³⁵ to them, but he did not return⁷⁷²⁵."
			2 Kin 9:19 Then he sent⁷⁹⁷¹ out a second⁸¹⁴⁵ horseman⁷³⁹²^,^5483b, who came⁹³⁵ to them and said⁵⁵⁹, "Thus³⁵⁴¹ says⁵⁵⁹ the king⁴⁴²⁸, 'Is it peace⁷⁹⁶⁵?'" And Jehu³⁰⁵⁸ answered⁵⁵⁹, "What⁴¹⁰⁰ have you to do with peace⁷⁹⁶⁵? Turn⁵⁴³⁷ behind⁴¹³^,³¹⁰ me."

			2 Kin 9:22 When Joram³⁰⁸⁸ saw⁷²⁰⁰ Jehu³⁰⁵⁸, he said⁵⁵⁹, "Is it peace⁷⁹⁶⁵, Jehu³⁰⁵⁸?" And he answered⁵⁵⁹, "What⁴¹⁰⁰ peace⁷⁹⁶⁵, so⁵⁷⁰⁴ long⁵⁷⁰⁴ as the harlotries²¹⁸³ of your mother⁵¹⁷ Jezebel³⁴⁸ and her witchcrafts³⁷⁸⁵ are so many^7227a?"
			2 Kin 9:24 And Jehu³⁰⁵⁸ drew⁴³⁹⁰ his bow⁷¹⁹⁸ with his full⁴³⁹⁰ strength³⁰²⁷ and shot⁵²²¹ Joram³⁰⁸⁸ between⁹⁹⁶ his arms²²²⁰; and the arrow²⁶⁷⁸ went³³¹⁸ through³³¹⁸ his heart³⁸²⁰ and he sank³⁷⁶⁶ in his chariot⁷³⁹³.
			2 Kin 9:27 ¶ When Ahaziah²⁷⁴ the king⁴⁴²⁸ of Judah³⁰⁶³ saw⁷²⁰⁰ this, he fled⁵¹²⁷ by the way¹⁸⁷⁰ of the garden¹⁵⁸⁸ house¹⁰⁰⁴. And Jehu³⁰⁵⁸ pursued⁷²⁹¹ him and said⁵⁵⁹, "Shoot⁵²²¹ him too¹⁵⁷¹, in the chariot⁴⁸¹⁸." So they shot him at the ascent⁴⁶⁰⁸ of Gur¹⁴⁸³, which⁸³⁴ is at Ibleam²⁹⁹¹. But he fled⁵¹²⁷ to Megiddo^4023b and died⁴¹⁹¹ there⁸⁰³³.
