			Judg 14:12 Then Samson⁸¹²³ said⁵⁵⁹ to them, "Let me now⁴⁹⁹⁴ propound²³³⁰ a riddle²⁴²⁰ to you; if⁵¹⁸ you will indeed⁵⁰⁴⁶ tell⁵⁰⁴⁶ it to me within the seven⁷⁶⁵¹ days³¹¹⁷ of the feast⁴⁹⁶⁰, and find⁴⁶⁷² it out, then I will give⁵⁴¹⁴ you thirty⁷⁹⁷⁰ linen⁵⁴⁶⁶ wraps⁵⁴⁶⁶ and thirty⁷⁹⁷⁰ changes²⁴⁸⁷ of clothes^899b.
			Judg 14:13 "But if⁵¹⁸ you are unable³⁸⁰⁸^,³²⁰¹ to tell⁵⁰⁴⁶ me, then you shall give⁵⁴¹⁴ me thirty⁷⁹⁷⁰ linen⁵⁴⁶⁶ wraps⁵⁴⁶⁶ and thirty⁷⁹⁷⁰ changes²⁴⁸⁷ of clothes^899b." And they said⁵⁵⁹ to him, "Propound²³³⁰ your riddle²⁴²⁰, that we may hear⁸⁰⁸⁵ it."
			Judg 14:14 So he said⁵⁵⁹ to them, "Out of the eater³⁹⁸ came³³¹⁸ something³⁹⁷⁸ to eat³⁹⁷⁸, And out of the strong⁵⁷⁹⁴ came³³¹⁸ something⁴⁹⁶⁶ sweet⁴⁹⁶⁶." But they could³²⁰¹ not tell⁵⁰⁴⁶ the riddle²⁴²⁰ in three⁷⁹⁶⁹ days³¹¹⁷.
			Judg 14:15 ¶ Then it came¹⁹⁶¹ about on the fourth⁷⁶³⁷ day³¹¹⁷ that they said⁵⁵⁹ to Samson's⁸¹²³ wife⁸⁰², "Entice^6601b your husband³⁷⁶, so that he will tell⁵⁰⁴⁶ us the riddle²⁴²⁰, or⁶⁴³⁵ we will burn⁸³¹³ you and your father's¹ house¹⁰⁰⁴ with fire⁷⁸⁴. Have you invited⁷¹²¹ us to impoverish³⁴²³ us? Is this not so?"
			Judg 14:16 Samson's⁸¹²³ wife⁸⁰² wept¹⁰⁵⁸ before⁵⁹²¹ him and said⁵⁵⁹, "You only⁷⁵³⁴ hate⁸¹³⁰ me, and you do not love¹⁵⁷ me; you have propounded²³³⁰ a riddle²⁴²⁰ to the sons¹¹²¹ of my people^5971a, and have not told⁵⁰⁴⁶ it to me." And he said⁵⁵⁹ to her, "Behold²⁰⁰⁹, I have not told⁵⁰⁴⁶ it to my father¹ or mother⁵¹⁷; so should I tell⁵⁰⁴⁶ you?"
			Judg 14:17 However she wept¹⁰⁵⁸ before⁵⁹²¹ him seven⁷⁶⁵¹ days³¹¹⁷ while⁸³⁴ their feast⁴⁹⁶⁰ lasted¹⁹⁶¹. And on the seventh⁷⁶³⁷ day³¹¹⁷ he told⁵⁰⁴⁶ her because³⁵⁸⁸ she pressed⁶⁶⁹³ him so hard⁶⁶⁹³. She then told⁵⁰⁴⁶ the riddle²⁴²⁰ to the sons¹¹²¹ of her people^5971a.
			Judg 14:18 So the men³⁷⁶ of the city^5892b said⁵⁵⁹ to him on the seventh⁷⁶³⁷ day³¹¹⁷ before²⁹⁶² the sun^2775a went⁹³⁵ down, "What⁴¹⁰⁰ is sweeter⁴⁹⁶⁶ than⁴⁴⁸⁰ honey¹⁷⁰⁶? And what⁴¹⁰⁰ is stronger⁵⁷⁹⁴ than⁴⁴⁸⁰ a lion⁷³⁸?" And he said⁵⁵⁹ to them, "If³⁸⁸⁴ you had not plowed^2790a with my heifer⁵⁶⁹⁷, You would not have found⁴⁶⁷² out my riddle²⁴²⁰."
			Judg 14:19 Then the Spirit⁷³⁰⁷ of the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ came^6743a upon him mightily^6743a, and he went³³⁸¹ down³³⁸¹ to Ashkelon⁸³¹ and killed⁵²²¹ thirty⁷⁹⁷⁰ of them and took³⁹⁴⁷ their spoil²⁴⁸⁸ and gave⁵⁴¹⁴ the changes²⁴⁸⁷ of clothes to those who told⁵⁰⁴⁶ the riddle²⁴²⁰. And his anger⁶³⁹ burned²⁷³⁴, and he went⁵⁹²⁷ up to his father's¹ house¹⁰⁰⁴.
