			Esth 3:1 After³¹⁰ these⁴²⁸ events¹⁶⁹⁷ King⁴⁴²⁸ Ahasuerus³²⁵ promoted¹⁴³¹ Haman^2001b, the son¹¹²¹ of Hammedatha^1992b the Agagite⁹¹, and advanced⁵³⁷⁵ him and established⁷⁷⁶⁰ his authority³⁶⁷⁸ over⁴⁴⁸⁰^,⁵⁹²¹ all³⁶⁰⁵ the princes⁸²⁶⁹ who⁸³⁴ were with him.
			Esth 3:2 All³⁶⁰⁵ the king's⁴⁴²⁸ servants⁵⁶⁵⁰ who⁸³⁴ were at the king's⁴⁴²⁸ gate⁸¹⁷⁹ bowed³⁷⁶⁶ down³⁷⁶⁶ and paid⁷⁸¹² homage⁷⁸¹² to Haman^2001b; for so³⁶⁵¹ the king⁴⁴²⁸ had commanded⁶⁶⁸⁰ concerning him. But Mordecai⁴⁷⁸² neither³⁸⁰⁸ bowed³⁷⁶⁶ down³⁷⁶⁶ nor³⁸⁰⁸ paid⁷⁸¹² homage⁷⁸¹².
			Esth 3:4 Now it was when they had spoken⁵⁵⁹ daily³¹¹⁷ to him and he would not listen⁸⁰⁸⁵ to them, that they told⁵⁰⁴⁶ Haman^2001b to see⁷²⁰⁰ whether Mordecai's⁴⁷⁸² reason¹⁶⁹⁷ would stand⁵⁹⁷⁵; for he had told⁵⁰⁴⁶ them that he was a Jew³⁰⁶⁴.
			Esth 3:5 When Haman^2001b saw⁷²⁰⁰ that Mordecai⁴⁷⁸² neither³⁶⁹ bowed³⁷⁶⁶ down³⁷⁶⁶ nor³⁶⁹ paid⁷⁸¹² homage⁷⁸¹² to him, Haman^2001b was filled⁴³⁹⁰ with rage²⁵³⁴.
			Esth 3:6 But he disdained⁹⁵⁹^,⁵⁸⁶⁹ to lay⁷⁹⁷¹ hands³⁰²⁷ on Mordecai⁴⁷⁸² alone⁹⁰⁵, for they had told⁵⁰⁴⁶ him who the people^5971a of Mordecai⁴⁷⁸² were; therefore Haman^2001b sought¹²⁴⁵ to destroy⁸⁰⁴⁵ all³⁶⁰⁵ the Jews³⁰⁶⁴, the people^5971a of Mordecai⁴⁷⁸², who⁸³⁴ were throughout the whole³⁶⁰⁵ kingdom⁴⁴³⁸ of Ahasuerus³²⁵.
			Esth 3:7 ¶ In the first⁷²²³ month²³²⁰, which¹⁹³¹ is the month²³²⁰ Nisan⁵²¹², in the twelfth⁸¹⁴⁷^,⁶²⁴⁰ year⁸¹⁴¹ of King⁴⁴²⁸ Ahasuerus³²⁵, Pur⁶³³², that is the lot¹⁴⁸⁶, was cast⁵³⁰⁷ before⁶⁴⁴⁰ Haman^2001b from day³¹¹⁷ to day³¹¹⁷ and from month²³²⁰ to month, until the twelfth⁸¹⁴⁷^,⁶²⁴⁰ month²³²⁰, that is the month²³²⁰ Adar¹⁴³.
			Esth 3:8 Then Haman^2001b said⁵⁵⁹ to King⁴⁴²⁸ Ahasuerus³²⁵, "There³⁴²⁶ is a certain²⁵⁹ people^5971a scattered⁶³⁴⁰ and dispersed⁶⁵⁰⁴ among⁹⁹⁶ the peoples^5971a in all³⁶⁰⁵ the provinces⁴⁰⁸² of your kingdom⁴⁴³⁸; their laws¹⁸⁸¹ are different⁸¹³² from those of all³⁶⁰⁵ other people^5971a and they do not observe^6213a the king's⁴⁴²⁸ laws¹⁸⁸¹, so it is not in the king's⁴⁴²⁸ interest^7737a to let them remain⁵¹¹⁷.
			Esth 3:10 Then the king⁴⁴²⁸ took⁵⁴⁹³ his signet²⁸⁸⁵ ring²⁸⁸⁵ from his hand³⁰²⁷ and gave⁵⁴¹⁴ it to Haman^2001b, the son¹¹²¹ of Hammedatha^1992b the Agagite⁹¹, the enemy^6887c of the Jews³⁰⁶⁴.
			Esth 3:11 The king⁴⁴²⁸ said⁵⁵⁹ to Haman^2001b, "The silver³⁷⁰¹ is yours⁵⁴¹⁴, and the people^5971a also, to do^6213a with them as you please^2896a^,⁵⁸⁶⁹."
			Esth 3:12 ¶ Then the king's⁴⁴²⁸ scribes^5613b were summoned⁷¹²¹ on the thirteenth⁷⁹⁶⁹^,⁶²⁴⁰ day³¹¹⁷ of the first⁷²²³ month²³²⁰, and it was written³⁷⁸⁹ just³⁶⁰⁵^,⁸³⁴ as Haman^2001b commanded⁶⁶⁸⁰ to the king's⁴⁴²⁸ satraps³²³, to the governors⁶³⁴⁶ who⁸³⁴ were over⁵⁹²¹ each⁴⁰⁸² province⁴⁰⁸² and to the princes⁸²⁶⁹ of each^5971a people^5971a, each⁴⁰⁸² province⁴⁰⁸² according to its script³⁷⁹¹, each^5971a people^5971a according to its language³⁹⁵⁶, being written³⁷⁸⁹ in the name⁸⁰³⁴ of King⁴⁴²⁸ Ahasuerus³²⁵ and sealed²⁸⁵⁶ with the king's⁴⁴²⁸ signet²⁸⁸⁵ ring²⁸⁸⁵.
			Esth 3:15 The couriers⁷³²³ went³³¹⁸ out impelled¹⁷⁶⁵ by the king's⁴⁴²⁸ command¹⁶⁹⁷ while the decree¹⁸⁸¹ was issued⁵⁴¹⁴ at the citadel¹⁰⁰² in Susa⁷⁸⁰⁰; and while the king⁴⁴²⁸ and Haman^2001b sat³⁴²⁷ down³⁴²⁷ to drink⁸³⁵⁴, the city^5892b of Susa⁷⁸⁰⁰ was in confusion⁹⁴³.
			Esth 4:7 Mordecai⁴⁷⁸² told⁵⁰⁴⁶ him all³⁶⁰⁵ that had happened^7136a to him, and the exact⁶⁵⁷⁵ amount⁶⁵⁷⁵ of money³⁷⁰¹ that Haman^2001b had promised⁵⁵⁹ to pay⁸²⁵⁴ to the king's⁴⁴²⁸ treasuries¹⁵⁹⁵ for the destruction⁶ of the Jews³⁰⁶⁴.
			Esth 5:4 Esther⁶³⁵ said⁵⁵⁹, "If⁵¹⁸ it pleases²⁸⁹⁵ the king⁴⁴²⁸, may the king⁴⁴²⁸ and Haman^2001b come⁹³⁵ this day³¹¹⁷ to the banquet⁴⁹⁶⁰ that I have prepared^6213a for him."
			Esth 5:5 ¶ Then the king⁴⁴²⁸ said⁵⁵⁹, "Bring⁴¹¹⁶ Haman^2001b quickly⁴¹¹⁶ that we may do^6213a as Esther⁶³⁵ desires¹⁶⁹⁷." So the king⁴⁴²⁸ and Haman^2001b came⁹³⁵ to the banquet⁴⁹⁶⁰ which⁸³⁴ Esther⁶³⁵ had prepared^6213a.
			Esth 5:8 if⁵¹⁸ I have found⁴⁶⁷² favor²⁵⁸⁰ in the sight⁵⁸⁶⁹ of the king⁴⁴²⁸, and if⁵¹⁸ it pleases²⁸⁹⁵ the king⁴⁴²⁸ to grant⁵⁴¹⁴ my petition⁷⁵⁹⁶ and do^6213a what¹²⁴⁶ I request¹²⁴⁶, may the king⁴⁴²⁸ and Haman^2001b come⁹³⁵ to the banquet⁴⁹⁶⁰ which⁸³⁴ I will prepare^6213a for them, and tomorrow⁴²⁷⁹ I will do^6213a as the king⁴⁴²⁸ says¹⁶⁹⁷."
			Esth 5:9 ¶ Then Haman^2001b went³³¹⁸ out that day³¹¹⁷ glad⁸⁰⁵⁶ and pleased^2896a of heart³⁸²⁰; but when Haman^2001b saw⁷²⁰⁰ Mordecai⁴⁷⁸² in the king's⁴⁴²⁸ gate⁸¹⁷⁹ and that he did not stand⁶⁹⁶⁵ up or tremble²¹¹¹ before⁴⁴⁸⁰ him, Haman^2001b was filled⁴³⁹⁰ with anger²⁵³⁴ against⁵⁹²¹ Mordecai⁴⁷⁸².
			Esth 5:10 Haman^2001b controlled⁶⁶² himself, however, went⁹³⁵ to his house¹⁰⁰⁴ and sent⁷⁹⁷¹ for his friends¹⁵⁷ and his wife⁸⁰² Zeresh²²³⁸.
			Esth 5:11 Then Haman^2001b recounted⁵⁶⁰⁸ to them the glory^3519b of his riches⁶²³⁹, and the number⁷²³⁰ of his sons¹¹²¹, and every³⁶⁰⁵ instance where⁸³⁴ the king⁴⁴²⁸ had magnified¹⁴³¹ him and how⁸³⁴ he had promoted⁵³⁷⁵ him above⁵⁹²¹ the princes⁸²⁶⁹ and servants⁵⁶⁵⁰ of the king⁴⁴²⁸.
			Esth 5:12 Haman^2001b also⁶³⁷ said⁵⁵⁹, "Even⁶³⁷ Esther⁶³⁵ the queen⁴⁴³⁶ let no³⁸⁰⁸ one but me come⁹³⁵ with the king⁴⁴²⁸ to the banquet⁴⁹⁶⁰ which⁸³⁴ she had prepared^6213a; and tomorrow⁴²⁷⁹ also¹⁵⁷¹ I am invited⁷¹²¹ by her with the king⁴⁴²⁸.
			Esth 5:14 Then Zeresh²²³⁸ his wife⁸⁰² and all³⁶⁰⁵ his friends¹⁵⁷ said⁵⁵⁹ to him, "Have a gallows⁶⁰⁸⁶ fifty²⁵⁷² cubits⁵²⁰ high¹³⁶⁴ made^6213a and in the morning¹²⁴² ask⁵⁵⁹ the king⁴⁴²⁸ to have Mordecai⁴⁷⁸² hanged⁸⁵¹⁸ on it; then go⁹³⁵ joyfully⁸⁰⁵⁶ with the king⁴⁴²⁸ to the banquet⁴⁹⁶⁰." And the advice¹⁶⁹⁷ pleased³¹⁹⁰ Haman^2001b, so he had the gallows⁶⁰⁸⁶ made^6213a.
