			Dan 6:12 Then¹¹⁶ they approached⁷¹²⁷ and spoke⁵⁶⁰ before⁶⁹²⁵ the king⁴⁴³⁰ about⁵⁹²² the king's⁴⁴³⁰ injunction⁶³³, "Did you not sign⁷⁵⁶⁰ an injunction⁶³³ that any³⁶⁰⁶ man⁶⁰⁶ who¹⁷⁶⁸ makes¹¹⁵⁶ a petition¹¹⁵⁶ to any³⁶⁰⁶ god⁴²⁶ or man⁶⁰⁶ besides^3861b^,⁴⁴⁸¹ you, O king⁴⁴³⁰, for thirty^8533b days³¹¹⁸, is to be cast⁷⁴¹² into the lions'⁷⁴⁴ den¹³⁵⁸?" The king⁴⁴³⁰ replied⁶⁰³², "The statement⁴⁴⁰⁶ is true^3330a, according to the law¹⁸⁸² of the Medes⁴⁰⁷⁶ and Persians⁶⁵⁴⁰, which¹⁷⁶⁸ may not be revoked⁵⁷⁰⁹."
			Dan 6:16 ¶ Then¹¹⁶ the king⁴⁴³⁰ gave⁵⁶⁰ orders⁵⁶⁰, and Daniel¹⁸⁴¹ was brought⁸⁵⁸ in and cast⁷⁴¹² into the lions'⁷⁴⁴ den¹³⁵⁸. The king⁴⁴³⁰ spoke⁶⁰³² and said⁵⁶⁰ to Daniel¹⁸⁴¹, "Your God⁴²⁶ whom¹⁷⁶⁸ you constantly⁸⁴¹¹ serve⁶³⁹⁹ will Himself¹⁹³² deliver⁷⁸⁰⁴ you."
			Dan 6:17 A stone⁶⁹ was brought⁸⁵⁸ and laid⁷⁷⁶¹ over⁵⁹²² the mouth⁶⁴³³ of the den¹³⁵⁸; and the king⁴⁴³⁰ sealed²⁸⁵⁷ it with his own signet⁵⁸²⁴ ring⁵⁸²⁴ and with the signet⁵⁸²⁴ rings⁵⁸²⁴ of his nobles⁷²⁶¹, so¹⁷⁶⁸ that nothing³⁸⁰⁹^,⁶⁶⁴⁰ would be changed⁸¹³³ in regard to Daniel¹⁸⁴¹.
			Dan 6:19 ¶ Then¹¹⁶ the king⁴⁴³⁰ arose⁶⁹⁶⁶ at dawn⁸²³⁸, at the break⁵⁰⁵³ of day⁵⁰⁵³, and went²³⁶ in haste⁹²⁷ to the lions'⁷⁴⁴ den¹³⁵⁸.
			Dan 6:20 When he had come⁷¹²⁷ near⁷¹²⁷ the den¹³⁵⁸ to Daniel¹⁸⁴¹, he cried²²⁰⁰ out with a troubled⁶⁰⁸⁸ voice^7032a. The king⁴⁴³⁰ spoke⁶⁰³² and said⁵⁶⁰ to Daniel¹⁸⁴¹, "Daniel¹⁸⁴¹, servant⁵⁶⁴⁹ of the living²⁴¹⁷ God⁴²⁶, has your God⁴²⁶, whom¹⁷⁶⁸ you constantly⁸⁴¹¹ serve⁶³⁹⁹, been³²⁰² able³²⁰² to deliver⁷⁸⁰⁴ you from the lions⁷⁴⁴?"
			Dan 6:23 Then¹¹⁶ the king⁴⁴³⁰ was very⁷⁶⁹⁰ pleased²⁸⁶⁸ and gave⁵⁶⁰ orders⁵⁶⁰ for Daniel¹⁸⁴¹ to be taken^5559b up out of the den¹³⁵⁸. So Daniel¹⁸⁴¹ was taken^5559b up out of the den¹³⁵⁸ and no³⁶⁰⁶^,³⁸⁰⁹ injury²²⁵⁷ whatever³⁶⁰⁶ was found⁷⁹¹² on him, because¹⁷⁶⁸ he had trusted⁵⁴⁰ in his God⁴²⁶.
			Dan 6:24 The king⁴⁴³⁰ then gave⁵⁶⁰ orders⁵⁶⁰, and they brought⁸⁵⁸ those⁴⁷⁹ men¹⁴⁰⁰ who¹⁷⁶⁸ had maliciously³⁹⁹^,⁷¹⁷⁰ accused³⁹⁹^,⁷¹⁷⁰ Daniel¹⁸⁴¹, and they cast⁷⁴¹² them, their children¹¹²³ and their wives⁵³⁸⁹ into the lions'⁷⁴⁴ den¹³⁵⁸; and they had not reached⁴²⁹¹ the bottom⁷⁷³ of the den¹³⁵⁸ before⁵⁷⁰⁵^,¹⁷⁶⁸ the lions⁷⁴⁴ overpowered⁷⁹⁸¹ them and crushed¹⁸⁵⁵ all³⁶⁰⁶ their bones¹⁶³⁵.
