AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Samuel 7:3 ¶ Then Samuel said to all the house of Israel, "If you are returning to the LORD with all your heart, remove the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth (pagan goddesses) from among you and direct your hearts to the LORD and serve Him only; and He will rescue you from the hand of the Philistines." |
Bible Question:
I was wanting to discuss with my SS class about preparation. Being prepare for the inevitable in life's walk. Also the tragically that may strike unexpectly. Like terror attacks, fire, unexpected medical results, etc. I was thinking in Josuha there is something about being prepared. Also I thought about Joseph making preparation for the drought. |
Bible Answer: Work in Eph. 6:13-20 and the fact that our lives are Purposeful (capital to denote Gods work in us). So that whatever happens, we pray, that we would do nothing to shame the work of Christ, but would always be prepared (Timothy) to think Christlike about our troubles. |
