Subject: How was Samuel called from the grave? |
Bible Note: Alleluia, for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. (Rev.19: 6) The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. Psa.103:19 But God also has certain principles laid down in His government of His whole creation. He normally does not interfere with the “way of all the earth,” (Josh.23: 14, 1Kings 2: 2)except in very rare cases due to the fervent prayers of His people. The system of God’s government is revealed to a little extent in verses Job 1: 6, 2: 1, Dan.10: 13,20, etc. I have also given some details about this in my original note on this topic. How can a witch bring out a soul from the Hades? That too, it was the soul of one of the greatest prophet of God. Is it possible for any such witch to do the same thing today? These are the most important questions raised in our mind when we read this passage. In my original note above I have focused on these issues without being biased by the widely prevalent orthodox and traditional views. |
