Bible Note: Makarios, While I know Doeg will be mentioned in the next chapter, I think it is strange to mention his position. What about the fact that David was -alone ... he was a leader of men -hungry ... he had eaten at the king's table -jobless ... as a harp player and soldier ... and being a shepherd is something he was good at.
