Bible Question: Naomi evidently blamed God for her misfortune. Was her bitterness directed at God or at her fate. |
Bible Answer: Naomi was sorrowful and bitter because she had lost all that she had. Yet she was still returning to her people, whom God loved. In contrast though look at Ruth...she had the faith in God that her life with the God of Abrahamm, Isaac, and Jacob would be better than any life that she had left. Ruth refused to go back to that life. |
