Bible Answer: God or Jesus doesn't threaten us with jail or prison per se, but He and they both do say that there are consequences to our every acts, whether good or evil. If evil, judgment is at the door. If good, judgment is at the door. If life and death are in the power of the tongue, so, too is life and death in the power of our acts, whether good and being rewarded, or evil and being rewarded, still. The Lord knows how to bless His kids. Man, too, knows how to bless his kids, whether snakes or bread. Yet sometimes good is rewarded as though evil, and evil rewarded as though good. Changing of times and seasons comes with every generation. Keep in mind that every law on the books of nations the world over are copies of the Law of God, whether not committing theft or murder, except the world doesn't want God a part of their society. A contradiction. |
