Bible Question: Since, in the original written language, there was no grammatical punctuation, is Jesus saying "I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise." (meaning this very day you and I will be together in paradise)as it is commonly held or "I tell you today, you will be with me in paradise" (meaning someday) as JWs hold. |
Bible Answer: D.W.- If you haven't already, I would like to point you to the "Search" box in the upper right of your screen. You can find good responses to this question already posted... the thread starting with post 64878 for example. Just type the number in the box and hit Search and start there. Both EdB and Tim Moran give good feedback on this. After you have read everything posted your question will likely be answered. Just thought this might be helpful and faster for you since you might be a while waiting on responses to come in. Hope this helps and welcome to the Forum. Jeff |
