Bible Question (short): My apologies if I offended any of you |
Question (full): Thank you Quvmoth for your help (answers) and to all the others who pointed me to the appropriate Bible verse. For those of you who were quick to judge me, and YES I am WAY over 18, I have gone back to school after 30 years. I had already answered (on my own) 120 study questions to help us prepare for a test (yes, Quvmoth..you were correct, a survey class of the New Testament. I had already put in 12 hours, so if you want to criticize me for looking for some help on the last 10 questions, go ahead. I still will be studying the answers to those 130 questions to prepare for the test. I did not grow up with a church family and have struggled my whole like with my faith (but yes, I am baptized by choice at the age of 30).I have always tried to love with an open heart and give everyone the benefit of the doubt(until proven otherwise). I was hoping this class would help me learn more, and open my heart. But forgive my weakness,I am an older mom with a 14 year old and only so many hours in a day. I didn't mean to ruffle so many feathers. If you feel I have abused the right to ask questions, I will bow out graciously. I understand where some of you were coming from. I would be upset too if I thought someone was taking the easy way out. BUT I can assure you that the A's and B's I have managed to get so far, I have done the old fashioned hard way. I am dyslexic so it takes me 20 hours to study for a test, unlike my son who can read it once and know it! Have a great day, and yes I will read the versus some of you were kind enough to pass on to me. I didn't even know WHERE to look for some of it. It's ALL knew to me, but sort of impossible to read the whole NT in a month (well, for me anyhow). cpbrandt |
