Bible Question:
Seeking assistance in Bible Study. NASB only. Think I want good study Bible. But perhaps I should use Bible study aids instead. Study Bible is convenient, but suspect all study Bibles contain author prejudice. Neither intentional, nor conscious, no ill will, just personal preferences that may influence free understanding. To avoid prejudices, am considering Thompson's chain reference. Have Strong's Concordance, Haley's Handbook, Smith's Dictionary. Have Ryrie of NASB 1977. Can you provide source of inexpensive N.T., w/ Psalms, Proverbs for gift during evangelism? Limited budget, fixed income. |
Bible Answer: I like the Zondervan Study Bible. You may want to check, but if I'm remember correctly, the Thompson Chain Reference Bible in the NASB was the original, not the Update 1995 edition. If you search at www.christianbook.com they have several gift/evangelism style Bibles you can purchase just depending on your price and need. Brad |
