Bible Question: origional sin |
Bible Answer: The general concept of sin goes back to when Eve ate of the fruit of the tree of life in the garden of Eden, when she was beguiled by the serpent. So in a way, you could say that the origin of sin began with the serpent, but the serpent was of Lucifer. From here, this is purely conjecture on my part, God created Lucifer and he became the Arch Angel until he felt that he was as powerful as God and was cast out, he had free will and used it unwisely, so in a way I believe that that was the first sin. In the beginning God created everything to be perfect and to his glory, but he did not want to be worshipped solely on the ground that he created them, he wanted us to worship him because we want to thereby giving us free will, hence we can chose to sin or honor God. I believe Lucifer created the first sin when he decided to challenge God. |
