Thank you for this answer, but I'm still not clear. What do you mean "the other is using other terms for God?" Does both LORD and Lord mean Jehovah God? Can both Lord and LORD refer to Jesus? Thank you very much. |
Bible Answer: fudge :: The format that the King James followed was to put LORD in all caps when it referred to the covenant name of God in the Old Testament and in the New Testament when an OT passage was quoted. Lord is commonly used in reference to Jesus. Many modern translations follow a format similar to that used by the King James translators. --Hank |
