Bible Question: The Lord our God always works through a man in the presence of the man, why is that? |
Bible Answer: That statement isn't always correct. First we don't know all that God is doing. Secondly a good part of the creation was performed by God before man was even created. I think what you are referring to is when God reveals himself to man, to allow man to see how he(man) would react and how God desires him to react. Man like Peter denies he would ever fail God. However it wasn't until God allowed Peter to be placed into position that Peter was able to see how in fact he would react. We often stand back and instead of placing ourselves in Peter's shoes we simply do what Peter first did deny we would ever fail. God then allows us to fail so we know we fall short of the glory of the Lord. Hopefully those lessons learned are not quickly forgotten and we have compassion on others and are mouldable in the hands of the Lord. |
