Bible Question: I have read in the Bible that we should not remarry after a certain age of 62 I think? Am I correct on this? MN66 |
Bible Answer: No place does it say one cannot marry after 62. In I Corinthians 7:26-28, Paul suggested that if one is loosed from a spouse it was good not to remarry, but if you do you have not sinned. Keep in mind that he was speaking about that present situation.Persecution was going on at that time and it was possible for spouses to be split up or to be martyred. Today it is alright to remarry at 62 or more. We live longer today and it is not good to be alone if you don't want to. |
