Subject: Will we ever see God the Father? |
Bible Note: Greetings, God is one in essence but "three in personalities". Jesus said that he has seen the Father so He is visible. John 6:46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. All truly born again believers are "of the Father" at the point of their new birth in the spirit. John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Couple that verse with the following and it pretty much makes it conclusive that we will have the ability to see the Father since we will be like Jesus. 1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. I don’t believe that we will be restricted to only seeing one of God’s personalities, i.e. not the Son only but the Father also. Have a great day, CDBJ |
