Bible Note: Leviticus really answered my question "is[was] it a sin to see your parents undressed". The nail was hit right on the head with your question regarding the harshness. The Bible doesn't say that Ham "did anything" to his father ... just that he saw him. Which brings up a question now ...why did God curse Ham's decendants? They didn't do anything wrong. And for that matter, why are we today still paying for Adam and Eve's GREAT sin ... i.e., men will work by the sweat of their brow ... women will have pain in child birth? I know God is a loving God ... but why make decendants pay for something their silly ancestors did? Aileen |
