Bible Question: For instance: The people at the church got together and prayed for someone to get well, then the sick pereson got better ,,,I dont get it? Lets say someone goes to a small church with 100 members or less and someone else goes to a church with 10,000 members. Then if i was to get sick and I asked for the members of my church to pray for me, it sounds like I be better off if I went to a bigger church. And what of the person who is alone. The Lord knows what is for me and i dont understand why the more people who ask the better off it is. It seems like the squeeky wheel syndrome. (the more noise you make the more(and faster) the situation is attended to. It almost seems like saying the Lord wont see little old me unless unless someone makes alot of noise. I believe the lord knows all about me and the lack of hairs on my head ..He knows every hair on my head...(chemotherapy made my hair fall out)they might come back maybe they wont, I dont car about the hair..Its like it's not fair because i know very few people and someone else might know thousands of people..why should the person who has more people praying for them get treated with preference?... |
Bible Answer: Dear mamayama, No. This is a misconception for the purpose of corporate prayer. I believe the below link will be helpful: http://gotquestions.org/corporate-prayer.html Shalom Azure |
