Bible Question: Jesus said there is no one who has left house or brother or sister or mother or father or children or farms, for My sake and the Gospel's sake, who will not receive an hundred times as much now in this time--houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecution-- and in the age to come, eternal life. Question! Is Jesus saying that every Christian who truly loves Him, would own houses and lands (Materially wealthy)? |
Bible Answer: humility: This sounds like something TBN Paul and Jan have said. I sure would encourage you to keep you money in your pocket and give to the church you call home. Benny Hinn, Fred Price, Kenneth Copland, Oral Roberts and son, are just a few of these so called "word of faith" false teachers have done more to ship wreck the faith of many people. May God have a special spot for those who become rich in this worlds "things" and yet are bankrupted in the truth of Christ. Jesus was not rich by any means. Paul, James, Peter, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John were all rich in Christ, and free from the world and it's rich life. justme |
