Subject: Has anyone used the USB Digital Bible? |
Bible Note: Part 2 of 2 parts May I recommend two ways to approach obtaining the information: 1. Ask, may I speak to the person who is the most knowledgeable regarding Biblical resources and/or translations. 2. When the person comes on the line, ask him/her are you the person who is the most knowledge in the store regarding ____ and ____. If they say yes then go for your question, if he/she says no, then ask, who would you consider the most knowledgeable regarding ____ and _____. If none of this works, you may post in this room and I will try my best to help. I have known Jesus, as my personal Lord and Saviour since I was five and by His grace, we (Jesus and I) have faithfully walked together for the last 45 years. Although, I asked Jesus into my heart when I was 5, and I owned my first Bible when I was 10, it was the man at the Christian bookstore that helped me to be grounded in the Word at a young age that and has carried me throughout my life. The first time I purchased The Open Bible it was somewhere in the early 70’s, I paid 75 dollars for the Bible and it took all of my babysitting money at 75 cents an hour to pay for my new Bible. Since then I have purchased two more of The Open Bible, New American Standard Bible; one in 1989, paid 85 dollars; 1994, paid 95 dollars. The proceeding purchases are the best investment I have made: in my life, in myself, in my spiritual life and in my relationship with Jesus, my Lord and Saviour. Being in the Scriptures daily helps me to understand God’s purpose for me: His will for my life, understanding His love for man, how He reveals Himself in this world, and His desire to spend eternal life with ME! Being in the Scriptures allows me to fall more in love with God, our Father; Jesus, His Son; and the Holy Spirit. Making investments is something that everyone talks about, how is your portfolio, buy these stock – they are a great investment, buying a house is the most important investment that you will ever make and the list will go on and on. With all the investment we make in this world and all the money that is spent the two greatest investment we can make are our relationship with the Lord and our self’s. After the two most important investments are stable all the others will fall into place. In His heart, your sister-in-the-Lord, Psalm 139 |
