Bible Question (short): What is a eunuch? |
Question (full): Concerning eunuchs. Matthew 19:12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from [their] mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive [it], let him receive [it]. My understanding of a eunuch is one that has been castrated. Is this correct? And if so, is this verse talking about what I think it is talking about? I don’t want to get vulgar, so I hope you understand what I am talking about. Thank you for any replies. |
