Bible Question:
to Hank ... thank you for your testimony. I bet insurance sales is much like car sales ... people already have a preconcieved notion about the salesman ... that he is a liar and out to get their money. What do you think about the fact that the manager broke a law? Shouldn't he be charged with wrong doing? |
Bible Answer: joel - You're very welcome and I hope my words will be of some comfort and help to you. .... Oddly enough, in my long sales and management career, I rarely experienced an encounter with anyone who seemed to think I was a liar out to part them from their money. ..... I can honestly give you nothing more than a general, generic sort of answer to your question about civil punishment for wrongdoing. I believe that it is the duty of every citizen to obey the law of the land so long as it does not clearly conflict with the law of God; and that justice should be served on those who do not obey the law. But I don't really want to enter into a broad discussion of civil disobedience or anything of that sort. --Hank |
