Bible Note: Greetings Rozaren! As Hank mentioned, I'm not sure that we can help much since we believe that God spoke through the prophets. Thus, Amos wrote what God spoke through him to Israel. If the purpose of the question is to imply that Amos wrote what he wrote because of the cultural situation of his day, than we are crossing over from Bible study to pure speculation.
