Bible Question: I have problems in believing that everyone who does not believe in Jesus will be sent to hell. I know that the bible mentions that God will judge fairly and that everyone who believes will be saved. But in which verses tells scripture that we must believe in christ to go to heaven? |
Bible Answer: David, This is a good question that all Christians at some time must ponder. I have come to believe in the "Day of Visitation", where Jesus Christ is presented into everyones life on an individual bases, as well as, on family and national bases. There are many scripture verses that tells us that Christ is the only way to the kingdom of heaven. Here are a few: Acts 4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." John 10 7Then Jesus said to them again, "Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8All who ever came before Me[a] are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 14 1 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2In My Father's house are many mansions;[a] if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.[b] 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4And where I go you know, and the way you know." 5Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?" 6Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Hope this helps, Pastor Glenn |
