Bible Question: How to prove that Jesus Christ is mention in the Old Testament to a Jewish person? |
Bible Answer: In Genesis 3:15 God promise that the seed of the woman would crush the serpent. Gen 12:3 God promised that through Abram/Abraham all the peoples of the Earth would be blessed. At the place of sacrifice on Mount Moriah, Abraham said, "God will provide for Himself the lamb for the burnt offering, my son." Gen 22:14 Abraham called the name of that place The LORD Will Provide, as it is said to this day, "In the mount of the LORD it will be provided." And Jesus is the Lamb of God. Jacob/Israel when he was blessing Judah said: Gen 49:10 "The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes, And to him shall be the obedience of the peoples." see also Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22 |
