Bible Question (short): Can anyone answer the original question? |
Question (full): Country Girl, It is important to me because the Bible very carefully lists geneology in Genesis and elsewhere in the Bible and the promises and covenents made to each of the sons of Adam. I believe it is important to study all information given in God's word to know him more thouroughly. If we were not to carefully ponder His word why would he give it to us? We have in our Bible group members of many different nationalities and back grounds (my own includes Native American, for example) and there is absolutely no intent to develop prejudice against anyone, just to try to understand God's word as set forth in the Bible. Perhaps the Bible does not give us enough information to know the correct answer and if that is so that is fine, but I've come across conflicting information as stated in my original question and wonder if anyone can answer the question?
