Bible Question:
In Genesis 1:27 God creates man and woman. Later in Genesis 2:18 God says its not good for man to be alone and then he creats Eve. I've heard that there was a Adam's first wife, Lilith. I was told that Lilith was made equal to Adam, but that she was unfaithful. Later God creates Eve, from Adam. Can you explain or give me details with regard to the first statment Genesis and then in chapter 2. |
Bible Answer: Hi, I would like to show you that wife 1 and wife 2 are the same, just as Adam 1 and Adam 2 are the same. Genesis 1:27 states, in the image and likeness of God he created him; male and female He created them. What image is God? God is a Spirit...John 4:24. Genesis 2:7 states, God formed man from the dust of the earth, 2nd Adam, became a living soul. Genesis 2:22 states, and the rib God had taken from man he made a woman and brought her unto him, 2nd woman. You see God made the spirit man and woman first, then he made the body for the spirit to dwell and breathe into man a living soul. Body, Spirit and Soul, 1 man. Body Spirit and Soul, 1 woman. I just want you to know that I am feeling this and I could go on. I pray you got the picture. |
