Bible Question (short): deeds of the law |
Question (full): 'Now if a person sins and does any of the things which the LORD has commanded not to be done, though he was unaware, still he is guilty, and shall bear his punishment.' Now that is pretty disheartening :(. My question is, was this under the law? If so, haven't we been redeemed from the curse of the law? (Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Gal 3:13). Another question: How do we reconcile the following scriptures? For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. Romans 2:13 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Romans 3:20 Thanks in advance to those who will respond.
