Subject: How much should we give? |
Bible Note: Not true...Abram never gave a 10th of his own income..it was the spoils from war...the 'unholy' things. And since it was done by Abram and not commanded by God, why would you follow the commands of a man and not God. Also money was never tithed in the Bible...you won't find it anywhere, so why do you tithe that which God did not command? See Galatians 3:24-25, so the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are NO LONGER under the supervision of the law. And there are other laws, have you been circumsize yet, that is pre-law...make sure you go do it if your'e still tithing. What about Jacob, he was before the law of moses, he told God he would tithe only if he protected him. That goes against today's principle..putting conditions on God. See Gen 28:20-22. Hope to see that you read, study more and ask God for revelation in his Word. Be blessed. MJ |
