Subject: Are we expected to keep the sabath? |
Bible Note: Hi John, I say "Amen" to your statement: believe that because of our love and gratitude toward our Lord Jesus and through the grace of God we will desire to be obedient to all of the commandments. But thank God we will not be judged according to our ability to keep them. The problem I find is if we don't try to live by the commandments just exactly as God has given them to us, men will keep them in the manner THEY THINK they should, which means they will ultimately justify not keeping them at all. Satan in the Garden of Eden deceived Eve and Adam by telling half truths, Telling Eve that if she ate of the fruit of the tree she wouldn't die (false) that she would become like God, knowing good and evil(true). We should obey God in the manner He tells us, not be deceived into beleiving half truthss, We indeed will fall short, but we never give up nor make excuses for our selfs, we dare not CHANGE HIS PRICELESS WAY OF LIFE.
