| Bible Question: when we die, do we go immediately to be with the Lord? i know that the Bible says to be absent from thr body is to be present with the lord, but then why would we come back to our bodies to rise and meet jesus in the air? |

Bible Answer: after death every part goes back to where it came. our spirit goes back to God (save or unsaved) or body to the dirt. And our soul to where we chose it to go. If we are saved and sealed by the Holy Spirit we are with the Lord. Those that are gone on before us will arise first and those of us who are not dead will be caught up to meet Christ in the air. we shall all be changed to a glorified body. we now have a earthly body but we shall receive a heavenly body. First Thess. 4:16 and first Cor. 15:49-56. |
