Bible Question: What's the best advice you can give someome (a Christian) who is goint to marry a Catholic? Is it wrong to marry in the Catholic Church? Should the marriage be in a "Protestant" church? What other things need to be considered under these circumstances? Thank you in advance for your advice and input. Blessings! |
Bible Answer: Are both members that are getting married born again Christians? If one is and the other isn't, the Word of God commands that they not be yoked together. 2 Cor. 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? If both are unbelievers or both are believers, they can even be married by a justice of the peace if the so desire. |
