AMPLIFIED 2015 | Revelation 3:5 'He who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God] will accordingly be dressed in white clothing; and I will never blot out his name from the Book of Life, and I will confess and openly acknowledge his name before My Father and before His angels [saying that he is one of Mine]. Bible Question: I would like to know verses supporting the doctrine that says once a Christian is saved they can not under any circumstances loose their salvation. The doctine commonly called once saved always saved. |
Bible Answer: Greetings, I'm terribly sorry and ask that you forgive me since I'm not able to give you what you ask? The reason being that no such verse exist. But I can offer this one: Rev 3:5 "'He who overcomes will thus be clothed in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels." Many who post here on this forum believe that it is carnal to use reason, but I don't. It seems reasonable to conclude from this verse that some people are going to have their names erased. I see this is your first post and I hope that you will stick around. Please respond, Disciplerami |
