AMPLIFIED 2015 | Revelation 3:18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold that has been heated red hot and refined by fire so that you may become truly rich; and white clothes [representing righteousness] to clothe yourself so that the shame of your nakedness will not be seen; and healing salve to put on your eyes so that you may see. |
Subject: gold refined |
Bible Note: Rev. 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. GOLD by Rev. Martin Sharlow The Lord has been showing me that all of creation is a pattern, or better yet; a picture of the Lord. About a week or so ago, I was panning gold and I became extremely frustrated with the fact that there was so much fool’s gold in the creek. I could see this as a pattern but I just could not get it in focus. So I brought it up at home to John and Connie saying there had to be a picture here or else God had a big sense of humor. Well, Connie hit upon it almost immediately and then I began to understand the picture. First, understand that gold represents the child of God. While fool’s gold represents the counterfeit. Wherever gold is found, there is almost always a large amount of fool’s gold. It's almost a guarantee. But not so, the other way around. Just because you find fool’s gold doesn't mean gold is there. Fool’s gold comes in many different forms. Each one you have to learn how to identify, because they are not always alike. But they always distract you from the real gold. Real gold is always unique. In fact, it's recommended that you learn what the real gold looks like so you will never be fooled. It always looks the same. It comes in many forms and shapes, but it always has the same luster. But fool’s gold, like mica, looks more like gold than the actual gold. It's shinier, thus it's brighter and sticks out easier. So it actually speaks louder than the gold. Many times I have to eliminate the mica so I can see the real gold. Another true test of gold is that when it's put under pressure it is malleable and doesn't break under pressure. But fool’s gold always breaks and crumbles under pressure. Fool’s gold only reflects light if it is caught in the right angle, while gold always maintains the same luster no matter what angle or where you look at it. Now this actually applies to more than just Christians. It can apply to out pourings or really anything that applies to the Lord. Well I hope this helps you and sorry it took me awhile to get this back to you. http://members.aol.com/GSmith5647/Martin1.html |
