AMPLIFIED 2015 | Revelation 22:11 "Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy (vile, impure), still be filthy; and the one who is righteous (just, upright), still be righteous; and the one who is holy, still be holy." [Dan 12:10] |
Bible Question: was this a then statement, for the futuristic timetable of now? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Humble Warrior! Revelation 22:11 "Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy." Since Jesus is coming so suddenly, will there be any time for change? This verse gives the sense that there won't be any time left for change: no last minute repentance. But there is time right now, before Jesus comes back. So if what you've read in Revelation hasn't changed you, then there isn't much hope! Once the final states of the righteous and the wicked are set, then they will be fixed forever. There is no 'second chance' after this. Blessings to you, Makarios |
