Bible Note: Since the Lake of Fire is eternal punishment. I would think the knowledge of a loved ones suffering would be stressful. I would think it would fill us with a degree of regret or doubt, did we do everything possible to lead this person to the truth. Think of a parent knowing their child must endure such punishment even though it is just. However there may be some kind of disconnect from the physical feelings, love,hate, remorse, regret, anger,and such we now experience. It is possible that while we may know someone it won't be based on physical relationship but rather pure knowledge of the person with no physical emotions as we know them involved. |
