Bible Question: will i remember my family in heaven if they are not in heaven too? |
Bible Answer: Hi, Vickie... I think that we will so remember them. However, our Lord will wipe away every tear (Revelation 21:4). See how it speaks of mourning in that verse? Sin touches every part of of us. When sanctification is complete, I well imagine that we will know much that we did here on the earth. But we will see it all as part of God's eternal purpose (Ephesians 1:11). No longer will those things have the mourning and sadness that we feel from our own perspective. Rather we will see it all clearly (1 Corinthians 13:12), so what will be obvious to us is the great, wondrous, loving, holy, and just character of our God. In Him, Doc |
