Bible Question: What does heaven look like? |
Bible Answer: pgs, Welcome to the forum. Revelation 21:11-27 describes what the new Jerusalem will look like, some think that is heaven. Heaven is called by Jesus Christ "a kingdom." (Matt 25:34). It is called "the kingdom of God" (Acts 14:22). In the parable of the unrighteous steward, Christ refers to heaven as "the eternal dwellings" (Luke 16:9). Heaven is called "the third heaven" (2Cor 12:2) and "the heaven of heavens" (Deut 10:14) ... it is beyond the stars, even those we don't see. Heaven is called "the joy of your master" (Matt 25:23). Psalm 16:11 tells us: "In Thy presence is fulness of joy; in Thy right hand there are pleasures forever." Hope this helps Steve |
