NASB | Revelation 20:5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Revelation 20:5 The rest of the dead [the non-believers] did not come to life again until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. |
Bible Question: Does the first resurection refer to the resurection promised to Daniel (Dan 12:13) and also to the events of Matthew 27:52? Could these events all be related? |
Bible Answer: dear friend...let me share with you a most revealing secret...and let me tell you. try to display the attitude of moses on this one.Moses saw a burning bush(not a common everyday occurance)said i will step aside to see the great sight.I advise you to read get a good dictionary and look up the word "aside".It will say to put away one's trained learning or bascially what you were taught or believe. Now just do that for a minute.Just put aside what you were taught.Read John 10:17..especially the last word.Read again...it says again! The word again is there. What does again mean to you?right it had to have happen before. If i go back to the store again it means i had to have been there before.See the correlation? Now answer your own question who really was the first resurrection?if you have more question maybe i can help!thanks |
