AMPLIFIED 2015 | Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was thrown down, the age-old serpent who is called the devil and Satan, he who continually deceives and seduces the entire inhabited world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. [Gen 3:1, 14, 15; Zech 3:1; John 13:2; 2 Cor 11:3; Rev 20:8] |
Bible Question: Where is Satan? I know that God created him, and has therefore limited his powers. But since he fell from heaven to the earth, has he been "banished" to the earth only? Can he go to heaven to talk with God (Job 1:7)? Do we know for sure that he was talking to God in heaven? |
Bible Answer: Satan is raoming about the earth and since the events of Revelation, is confined to the earth: 9And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, The fact that every translation has Satan answering God shows there's no reason to think that Satan wasn't talking with God.
