Bible Question:
When was the book of Revelation written? About A.D.95, before A.D.70, other? Please provide your evidence (scriptural, historical) when you reply. "I was always taught..." or "I believe..." doesn't prove anything. |
Bible Answer: Kalos: Very interesting question. I am leaning more to an earlier date of about 65 AD. I have taken this more sreiously lately due to "Hank" the Bible Answer Man, and his quest for a better understanding of "things to come". I believe that hwen Jesus said that this generation will not pass until "these things take place" are better understood in light that the generation Jesus refered to was those standing heraing His owrds. Do you see some favor in this understanding of the text and why Revelation might well have been written at an earlier date? blessings. justme |
