Bible Question:  Does Rev. 1:6 refer to the Millenial age or after?

Bible Answer:  Hiram Abiff,

This is mainly a matter of perspective. A dispensationalist might view this from a different perspective than those who are a-mil or post-mil.

Actually, 1 Peter 2:9 says; "But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God's OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." So, with respect to this verse, we are already a kingdom of priests and have been since God called His elect to salvation.

Rev. 1:6 in no way whatsoever makes reference to the dispensational view of the millennial kingdom. The fact that we are and have been made to be a kingdom of priests to God is the essence of Rev. 1:6, not the millennial kingdom.
