AMPLIFIED 2015	1 John 3:16 By this we know [and have come to understand the depth and essence of His precious] love: that He [willingly] laid down His life for us [because He loved us]. And we ought to lay down our lives for the believers.

Bible Question: Jesus knew he was going to die so its a suicide. Jobe asked god to kill him, the most righteous man in the bible. We ought to hate our lives in this world. I can be saved if i kill myself and smoking isnt a sin. Am i lying ?

Bible Answer: Hi KumKum,

You are misunderstanding, I believe. Where exactly did Job ask God to kill him?

Just a point to ponder: Would an inmate on death-row who knew he was going to die, be committing suicide? I don't think so.
