Subject: Am I lost for eternity because of sin |
Bible Note: Reading the scriptures carefully is very important. The more I grow in Christ, the more serious this gospel is to me. First of all, when people came to Jesus to be forgiven for their sins, Jesus did forgive them but you need to read on a little further and see where Jesus also tells them to go and sin no more. What does this mean to you? Do you think that Jesus was joking or just talking in the wind? I think that Jesus always meant what he said. Secondly I have experiance with this kind of situation. God has given me the wisdom to understand people and their behavior although this is a ever learning process. It was playing with fire that got her in this situation. Would it make sense to put out the fire and never correct the child. Now would you just forgive and never give her advise on how to stay out of this situation again. II Tim. 3: 16 says, " All sccripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for REPROOF, FOR CORRECTION, AND FOR INSTRUCTION IN RIGHTEOUSNESS". When it comes to peoples soul, I take it very seriously and I don't think it should be taken lightly. If I don't tell people the truth, then I am held accountable for it. People say that the truth doesnt hurt, but the truth does hurt because it corrects people in their wrong doing. When St. John ate the word in Rev., he said it was bitter in his mouth but when it hit his belly, it was as sweet as honey. The truth is not very tasteful in wrong-doing but when it cleans you up it is the best thing that could have ever happen to you. Now you say that we all slip up, I would like to know what scripture did you find that in, because the book of James says that the Holy Spirit is able to keep us from falling. I don't mean to sound harsh but I believe in not only forgiveness but also teaching people how to live. The Apostle Paul wrote to the people at Corinth and he said himself that he didn't want to sound harsh but it was for their own good. Many of these people were caught doing the same acts as she meantions and much wrose. Read II Cor. 7:8-10 and see it for yourself. This gospel must be revealed to Saints personally and then others can see what I see. Always with love Andrew Jr. |
